We understand the prevention of occupational hazards to be an intrinsic element of the company’s activity and the reason we created a Management System designated to facilitate the compliance of the legal requirements and the most prestigious and applied international (OHSAS 18.001) standard plus the even stricter standards of The Coca-Cola Company. As a result of this effort, Cobega has lowered its work accidents statistics to levels much lower than the sector average.
As of 2005, all our production centers, as well as the majority of the sales branches, have been certified in compliance with the international OHSAS 18.001 standard.
Our Management System of Prevention of Occupational hazards is voluntarily audited every year by entities of accredited certification, in addition to the audits established by current legislation.

We have our own prevention service in each one of the regions where we operate which is formed by specialized technicians that help detect existing hazards and establish the priorities in the execution of the actions for their elimination and/or reduction.
