Cobega is the largest of the three business units of the Cobega Group which also includes Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) and New Businesses.
In its totality, the Cobega Group serves a population of 96.3 million people in 15 countries and runs 22 production plants, employing almost 8,500 people. In 2009, it sold 8.9 billion drinks and had a turnover of 1,317 million Euros.
Cobega
Bottling company and distributor of Coca-Cola Company products in Catalonia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands.
It also holds a 25% participation in the Portuguese business.
ECCBC
Bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola Company products in the North and Central African markets: Morocco, Algeria (center), Mauritania, Cape Verde, Gambia, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and São Tomé and Príncipe.
New Businesses
Includes all the businesses not directly related to the bottling and sale of Coca-Cola Company products. Among them, the following areas of activity are highlighted:
Daba
Focused on the business of Nespresso coffee capsules, it exploits the exclusive franchise for the development of In Home (domestic use) and Out of Home (professional use) businesses in Spain, Andorra and Morocco.
Daba Aquavending
Division of Daba focused on the vending and water cooler businesses.
Roalba
Holding that includes the Group’s three businesses of bottling and natural mineral water sales, managed by the companies Aguas Vilas del Turbón, Aguas del Maestrazgo and Aguas del Toscal.
